Our Approach

We keep our approach as simple as possible, reducing workload wherever possible and investing heavily in your professional development.   

All our staff benefit from an exciting Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme. You can view our current CPD brochure at the base of this page.

The programme includes a wide range of mentoring and training opportunities for all levels of staff, drawing on internal expertise, best practice in outstanding schools, and external consultants.

Harmood School is a Special School for secondary aged students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. Students may have a range of complex learning needs and require tailored learning and support opportunities.
